Prehunt Information

Prior to your hunt,

Please contact Tim Shelnutt's Wildlife Art to receive your free shipping tags that will accompany you on your hunt.  You will need to attach one of these tags to EACH skin, set of horns, or skull.  These tags will have Fauna and Flora's information along with your information and our information.  Proper tagging of each piece will enable the your trophy to reach us quickly and easily. 

For trophies coming from outside of the US,

These trophies will be imported through Fauna & Flora.  You will be contacted directly by this company once your trophies are received.  You will pay them for their services and then they will ensure that we receive your trophies.  If you need help with any CITES or import/export paperwork, they will be happy to assist you.

Once we receive your trophies,

Your trophies will be received into our inventory.  Then we will contact you to discuss your trophies and take your pose instructions.  At this time, we will finalize your order.  Please be thinking about your instruction for your trophies immediately after your hunt.  If you need mounting ideas, please contact Wildlife Art Inc. @ 706 227 9211.

After we receive your trophies, you will receive a deposit invoice

For 50% of your charges.  Once we receive your deposit, please allow 6 months for us to complete your order.

When your trophies are nearing completion,

We will contact you to discuss shipping/delivery options.

Shipping Information

For Trophies from within the U.S. including Alaskan Trophies:

Please ensure that you have read and complied with the Prehunt Information and received your personalized trophy tags before commencing your hunt.

When sending your trophies to us to be mounted please ensure to include the following:

  • Ensure that all trophies are properly preserved.
  • Wrap your salted hide in burlap or a cloth.  Do not use a plastic bag.  Any moisture that is captured inside a plastic bag can cause irreparable damage to your trophy.
  • Please enclose a letter that states the following:
    • Full Name
    • Complete Address
    • Daytime Telephone Number
    • Hunting License Number
    • Tag Number or Seal Number
    • Fax Number (if applicable)
    • Email Address
  • Please ensure that every package is carefully addressed and includes your name and return address.  If the contents need immediate attention (i.e. they are perishable) please mark the package accordingly.
